Wayne Newton, born in April 1942 is an American singer and entertainer based in Las Vegas. For over 40 years brings her back more than 30,000 shows, which gave him the nickname Mr. Las Vegas. His best known songs are Daddy do not you walk so fast, Danke Schoen and Red Roses for a Blue Lady.

When Newton was a child, his family moved to a home near Newark, Ohio. She began singing in local clubs, theaters and fairs with his brother Jerry.

In the spring of 1958, an agent in Las Vegas saw a local television station one of the actions of Wayne and his brother and took them to an audition. They secured a contract for two weeks but eventually the brothers were doing the show for 5 years and 6 daily performances.

In September 1962 the show premiered Jackie Jackson starring the brothers repeated 12 times during the next two years.

After several television shows, Wayne was offered a job at the Flamingo Hotel where he stayed for some time.

From 1980 to 1982 Newton was part owner of the Aladdin Hotel, but was a business that did not work well with lawsuits involved.

In 1994, Newton made his performance 25,000 in Las Vegas. In 1999, Newton signed a 10-year contract with the Stardust to perform 6 shows a week in a room bearing his name. In 2005, the agreement was terminated amicably by the demolition of the casino.

That same year, Newton began a new reality show called “The Entertainer”. The winner got a number on her show.

His new show began in October 2009 with the name “Once Before I Go” at the Tropicana in Las Vegas.
