Pairs in Poker

Pairs in Poker
It is often that a player’s eyes light up when it comes to a couple in Texas Hold’em, especially when the high cards. But you can not only be a couple to be an instant winner, you can also join hands lead to bigger and better, like a flush or full house.

But I’ve always maintained that it is sometimes better to get a couple smaller than a larger one. Suppose you are playing in a tournament, where their existence depends on the key plays and, after losing, there is no return.

I argue that in some circumstances it is better a couple of nines, for example, that a pair of queens, when faced with a pair of aces or kings. A sample case which I am referring to is when you are in the final hand against his opponent, and all his chips are on the flop.

Assuming you are in this situation, it has some output or chances of winning.

Two nines give you a better chance of winning two queens against a pair of aces and two eights would be better when faced with a pair of kings.

Here’s why and the answer is very simple: If you take a ‘Q’ in any of the five cards are on the board when the hand is completed, of course you can increase your chances and win the hand with three cards equal, unless the ‘Q’ will of the other player the third leg of a ladder and could lose even contains a ‘Q’.

If a ‘J’ or 10 were a part of the five community cards will inevitably be a better hand to win the pot and has the same opportunity to take a 9 which a ‘Q’.

The difference is that with 9 players will not make a straight if you’re lucky enough to catch it.

So this is a moment that you prefer to have two nines before two queens. Remember that you should take one to defeat two kings, and which has exactly the same chance to pick up nine to collect a ‘Q’.

You can not control the cards you receive when you are playing poker, but you can control what you do with cards.
